As much as this increases the enjoyment of our bars, it highlights our responsibility in making sure our bars can be enjoyed safely in the presence of any audience.
The fragrance oils we use are 100% phthalate-free, and do not contain other toxins or carcinogens. Without the need for a wick, our bars overcome safety concerns surrounding flames and soot pollution. This makes our fragrances safe for small children and animals to breathe in as well.
Nevertheless, a few precautions to take:

- Keep away from flammable items.
- Keep out of reach of small children and pets.

Our bars are predominantly made of soy wax.
Natural soy wax is a product of soybean oil, making it ideal for both environmental and consumer health. On top of that, soy wax does a wonderful job of holding and diffusing scent.
However, soy wax alone is unable to achieve the smooth velvety finish of our bars or the satisfying snap characteristic of a chocolate bar.
This is where beeswax comes in.
Beeswax is a natural wax that is more brittle and has a more oily finish. It is also known for its strong yellowish tinge and inability to work well with added fragrances.
We blended just enough beeswax to obtain the texture and finish we desire, but not too much that it would affect the colour or scent diffusion of our bars.
